Timeline idea for your Norway elopement

This is how your elopement in Norway can look:

8.00pm

day before

we meet up and take some starry night photos before you get a good night’s rest.

10.00am

Getting ready

in the Mirror cabin in Telemark- surrounded by nature.

11.30am

climbing

you climb up the popular climbing mountain Hægefjell. Imagine the epic drone shots we’ll get here.

2.00pm

first look 

At the top, you change into your wedding attire and you get to have a first look at a spectacular location.

3.00pm

ceremony

On top of the Hægefjell you have your ceremony.

3.30pm

celebrate

and let’s shoot photos. Not to mention celebrate with a lovely picnic basket.

4.30pm

helicopter

A helicopter is ready to pick you up and take you back to the cabin.

Easily said I do the work of two people alone. I take pictures with my camera and then I shoot video with my camera. If you are a good photographer but have not any experience with video you are a bad videographer. No point then in trying to do both. Better to focus on delivering great images. I am educated in still photography and have worked with still photography for years. I am also educated in videography and have worked with video for years. I have worked as a hybrid shooter for almost a decade now and am completely confident in working with both media. A wedding day is not a day for a photographer to “try out video”. A professional wedding photographer should not try to deliver both formats if those formats are not of the same quality. 

First of all when you choose your photographer you have automatically also chosen your videographer. I do both. So if you like my images you will like my video and the other way around. When you get to know me as a person before we agree to work together there will be no other photographer that shows up on your special day. It will be only me. Normally when you want both images and video you have to hire a photographer and a videographer. You will have to find each person, like each person and like how each person poses you for the images / video. The last is something you often don’t find out beforehand. The photographer will also sometimes go in the way for the videographer and the other way around. Importantly every photographer / videographer is different in the editing style.

With me as your hybrid shooter you will get the same style and look in both the images and the video. You will also have to pay much more as you have to pay two people instead of one. You will also have to pay for lodgings and travel for two people. If you do choose two people it’s important that they have worked together before. I also have 10 years experience as a drone pilot and most times include aerial images and video in my hybrid shoots. 

Me as a hybrid shooter can not get every single second of every single moment of the day in both photo and video. I will have a little less images and a little less video material in the end. However as long as you do not want a very long video that will matter little. I will make a video of the best moments of the day. A sort of long highlight video. And I will have a very high number of images to deliver. . 

Yes I absolutely can. In 2014 I bought a drone company and included in that was a lot of equipment, lots of clients and personal drone training. My drone knowledge and skills skyrocketed from that moment on. I got my drone pilot license the same year and still have it. 

I have been hired as a full time commercial drone pilot for two years and have also worked full time for my self flying drones. I have also worked full time in a drone technical support company and have delivered aerial footage to big commercial films, Netflix and Alan Walker music videos. Drones give a unique perspective and I often add that to my service if I see it can benefit the final client delivery. As long as we fly within the drone laws and the weather permits, I’d be happy to deliver aerial images and video. 

My photographic style is based on the natural and real moments. It’s when you relax, laugh and be yourself the images turn out best. Either is your wedding session, elopement or wedding day its a day full of feelings, love, romance and happy emotions. It’s when these emotions show in your body, your face and your energy combined with beautiful scenery and a good professional photographer that true magic happens. The images we can create together can be truly amazing. I am used to shooting my friends and wedding couples I’ve just met. None of them are professional models. So if you like my portfolio, know that you are not looking at any professional  models. I will give you simple instructions and I will try my best to make the photo session as fun and laid back as possible. Combined with capturing the in-between moments I am sure we can create images that make you happy. 

This is your day. You can bring who you want!

It will depend on where you are from and where you want to elope. You will need an officiant and do the paperwork. It’s your day and you choose what you want your ceremony to include. Let’s talk about it together and I can give you some suggestions.

Yes I would be more than happy to. When I get to know a bit about you and we can start to talk about what you are open for we can narrow down the possibilities. But of course, the number of possibilities are almost endless. But what we can do is to figure out; do you want winter, autumn, spring or summer. Do you want mountains, beaches or forests? And so on. I can also share my experiences and travels.

Well, you have chosen an adventurous photographer. I love all kinds of weather. Not all wedding photos have to have a blue sky. Dark skies will give your images a dramatic effect. The wind will blow into your dress and give life to it. Anyways we can’t do anything about it. The weather is what it is. And even though it might rain some, it may be sunny later in the day. Weather changes. And the forecast often changes a day ahead.

I’ve photographed for more than 15 years. 

I will send you three images within two days after the shoot. The rest of the images and video will be delivered within three weeks after the shoot.
